New Star Wars:TOR screenshots

Bioware has just just released a new media update for their upcoming Star Wars: The Old Republic MMO. The fanboy in me is just giddy at excitement at looking at these screenshots. They are gorgeous! However, not all is well in the galaxy as rabid and finnicky Star Wars fans have already voiced their disapproval on the size of the weapons and the “plastic” look of the character faces.

I’ve looked at these screenshots a few times and I just don’t see the problem. The weapons do look a little on the large size, but it doesn’t take away from how visually appealing the rest of the game looks so far. I’m beginning to have a little more faith that this game won’t be Galaxies part deux.
