Jed I KnightGeeky parents can do a lot of mean things to their kids. Apparently (don’t know if this is true or not, since I wasn’t able to verify it), this boy’s name is the groantastic, Jed I Knight. I’ve met some people in my time with some fairly unfortunate names: Shanda Lear, Krystal Ball, Harold “Harry” Bottoms. However, this one ranks up there naming your kid Bruce Lee or Chuck Norris. I’m sure some bullies out there will just get a kick of beating up a real life “Jedi”.

While I think the naming choice is horrible, there’s some folks who disagree. The folks at the Star Wars blog labeled the name (sarcastically I think) as a win. The folks at Failblog who broke the story obviously thinks the name is a fail.
