I’ve been out of the RPG hobby for a while now, and I haven’t played a round of Dungeons & Dragons for at least a few years. D&D was undoubtedly a geeky hobby, but my friends and I enjoyed it. However, even *we* looked down on LARPers, those obsessive fools who wouldn’t restrain their role playing activities to the table top but had to act them out in the middle of the woods or elsewhere where they wouldn’t be taunted and made fun of. I found these pictures in my quest of trying to gather my chainmail bikini gallery. So, these fantasy babes are clad in plate, leather and scale but not chain. Chainmail bikini gallery
Truth in advertising up front: this really isn’t that great of a chainmail bikini gallery. If you search Google, Flickr and some of the other dozen image directories I’ve tried, your results for finding a true chainmail bikini picture isn’t that good. Surprisingly, you find a lot of pictures of real women attending Renaissance fairs and such dressed as their favorite fantasy femme fatale. While I give a lot of points for bravery, most of these women aren’t quite up to the fantasy standards I had in mind. Read more
Femtroopers: who knew?

I was browsing today trying to grab some nice images for my upcoming chain mail bikini gallery when I came across something I’d never expected to see: femtroopers. Femtroopers are women cosplayers who dress up as sexier versions of regular stormtroopers. Apparently, I’m behind the times because quite a few of these images are from 2006 or earlier. I feel like I’ve been in a cave, because I’ve never seen them before.
